Mobile marijuana businesses are flourishing across Southern California as more patients prefer that their pot be promptly delivered, rather than making a trip to their local dispensary. Nationwide, pot delivery services have nearly tripled in three years, increasing from 877 to over 2,500, according to Weedmaps, a Yelp-like online directory for pot businesses. LA Times reports that in part, marijuana deliveries have been fueled by the city’s efforts to eliminate dispensaries, arguing the shops are considered a curbside eye sore.
